I had an exceptional experience at this fish restaurant. From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere felt warm and welcoming, with a fresh, coastal vibe that perfectly matched the menu. The seafood was incredibly fresh and cooked to perfection. Every dish had its own unique flavour — from the tender, melt-in-your-mouth fish to the perfectly seasoned sides that complemented each plate beautifully. You can really taste the quality and care that goes into the food. The service was another highlight. The staff were friendly, knowledgeable, and genuinely passionate about what they do. They offered great recommendations and made sure everything was just right throughout the meal. Overall, this place is a must-visit for anyone who loves great seafood. Whether you’re in the mood for a casual lunch or a special dinner, you’ll leave fully satisfied. Highly recommended!

Kitty O’Se’s is well known for having the best fish and chips in Killarney, but unfortunately, I was quite underwhelmed. My fish (hake) was soggy, wet, and completely lacking in flavor, very disappointing for a dish with such a great reputation. That said, the goat cheese and beet appetizer was absolutely phenomenal! The creamy goat cheese paired with the sweet, tangy pickled beets and warm earthy spices was out of this world, one of the best appetizers I’ve ever had anywhere. So while the main course missed the mark, the starter alone made the visit worthwhile. I’d go back just for that!

I have a deep appreciation for high-end restaurants — not only for the food, but for the atmosphere, the design, and the feeling they create. For me, it’s about the whole experience, and I find these places truly nourishing on every level. This particular restaurant feels like it was created with heart and intention. If you’re lucky, you might meet the owner — a gracious and thoughtful woman whose presence adds an extra layer of warmth to the place. Every dish is presented with elegance, and the overall vibe is calm, refined, and welcoming. I believe this is the kind of place that quietly wins your heart and makes you want to return again and again

We popped by for dinner last week, and had a good time. The staff are wonderful. Everyone enjoyed the meal and loved the appetizers, but not all the mains hit the spot. My fish and chips fell a bit short… the fish was nice and fresh, but the batter wasn’t very flavourful or crunchy which was disappointing. The chips also were also in the softer side.

Great oysters, fresh fish and a lovely fish pasta dish. For me, the crab claws had too much sauce, but otherwise everything was great. Nice wine selection also. Really friendly service and reasonably priced for Ireland :)

We were in Killarney for three days and had the pleasure of dining at Kitty O’Se’s for dinner. We ordered the Scallop dish & Sea Bass. Both were very good. Service was five star & Kevin, the manager, was very hospitable. This restaurant is a great choice if you get to Killarney.

After a fruitless attempt on spec at the Europe on a rainy Sunday evening in Killarney swelled by an invasion of Daniel O’Donnell fans, we rang and got a cancellation at Kitty’s in the heart of Killarney. Warm and friendly welcome from the team, place was full on a Sunday Evening. Service quick and attentive, drinks and food ordered without delay. Had the deep fried Brie and delicious Coquilles St Jacques for entree, the Coquilles was fabulous. Then a delightful Tagliatelle Seafood, Massive steak sandwich and Chicken Piccata left all satisfied and full and no room for desert. Can’t fault any aspect, not a budget restaurant but very good quality food, seafood the hero and service was top notch in a wonderful setting. If in Killarney and you like seafood then pop in, it’s busy so would make a booking

Wow! We stopped in for a snack and beverage after exploring in Killarney National Park. The atmosphere is cute. We got to sit near the window and watch the world go by. The server was polite and pleasant. We shared an order of mussels and I was honestly blown away. They were the best mussels I've ever eaten, anywhere in the world. That's extra special because we used to live 1/2 hour from Penn Cove, Washington. If we had been in Killarney longer I would have loved to return for a proper meal.
